see a limited list of dental providers. ( More choices in larger cities )
- Dental Preferred Provider Organization - Under this plan you may see any
dentist. The benefits are often more advantageous if you see a Preferred dentist.
- Dental Exclusive Provider Organization - Under this type of plan you may
see a list of dentist providers that is more expanded than the HMO list.
- Indemnity - Under this type of plan you may see any dentist.
- Scheduled Plans - Under this type of plan you pay the amount the dentist
charges over and above the reimbursement.
- Self - Funded Plans - This type of plan is self-explanatory. Some include
stop loss provisions. Additional costs are to third party administrators.
